To opowieść o bliskości mimo ograniczeń. Nie będzie jednak osobnego numeru czerwcowego, postanowiliśmy połączyć go z majowym. Love Intimacy Tenderness Touch Care Perseverance Unity „The image of @jacmonika nursing her baby felt like the only choice for our cover – both touching and topical. It’s about being close despite limitations. The horror of the current situation is impossible to ignore, but solace is to be found in our loved ones. Even if we can’t see them, let alone embrace them. This issue was to be different. We had a different cover planned, different stories inside. Monika and her daughter were intended for June. There will be no separate June issue however, we decided to fold it into May. As we worked on the issue you now see, the conviction that in these troubled times beauty, optimism and reassurance are of utmost value never left us. That is what Vogue is for.” #FilipNiedenthal, @niedenthal_vogue_polska. Photographed by @zuzakrajewska and styled by @karlagruszecka. Jak wygląda ta mama na okładce? No, właśnie – jak mama z okładki.

A zobaczcie okładkę naszego ostatniego „Kwartanika Laktacyjnego”.

Dotyk
Troska

Można mieć wiecznie słodki wzrok i twarz anioła lub tzw. bitch face (pardon my french).

There’s something so very primal and comforting in knowing that your family is all safely quarantined within four walls. When the Stay at Home law went into effect I had a strange sense of relief- the guilt I was holding onto knowing that I accomplish so very little right now suddenly was lightened. I realized that now no one was expected, or able to accomplish much. Selfish I suppose. I do miss my lady friends and occasional dinners out, I feel scared and devastated by Covid19 it’s self, but as far as the quarantine I feel like I’m already an expert. Stay at home mother’s have been quarantined for months sometimes years already. It can be scary, lonely, guilt ridden. But this time I’m quarantined with not only babies but my big kids (who often feel like friends) and my partner. And then there’s the comfort in knowing the entire world is in this together. So when this all let’s up and we are trying to put the pieces back together don’t forget to check in on those stay at home or work from home parents- quarantine’s not exactly ending for them in fact it may be just getting started again. #quarantine #loveinthetimeofcorona #stayathomemom #stayhome

(Versão ?? nos comentários)⠀ ⠀ I can’t believe after 3 years I’m finally posting this photo.⠀ There, my boy was 45 days old. I wanted a picture to capture that powerful phase I was going through. I wanted it to show serenity on the middle of the stormy experience of becoming a mum. When I look at this imagine, I can see all of that but I kept it in my drive for too long, because I couldn’t deal with my postpartum body. My relationship with my body was always very troubled, but when I looked at it during my postpartum I wanted to disappear. These feelings resulted in me hiding from the camera every time someone tried to photograph me and my new family together. I have only a few photos with my newborn and I regret it so much now. I deprived myself from being part of those important memories, a time I’ll never get back. If I can give some advice to new mums it would be “don’t let your self image stop you from being a part of your kid’s history.” In ten years you’re gonna want to look back into the havoc that was your life as a new mum and realise you’ve done a hell of a good job. You’ll want to see how time passes, and that life is in constant movement. Take that picture with the extra kgs, the messy hair, the rings around your eyes… but take the picture with your new baby. Life is now and that’s when memories are being made! ⠀ I never got my pre-pregnancy body, I had just had my lipo and was feeling very beautiful. But now I have learned a good lesson, I’m always smiling next to my toddler in case someone snaps a shot! ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ •⠀ •⠀ •⠀ •⠀ •⠀ #postpartum #bodypositivity #postpartumbody #postpartumjourney #breastfeeding #postpartumweightloss #bodyafterbaby #postbabybody #bodypositive #motherhood #newmom #fitmom #postbaby #doula #pregnancy #normalizebreastfeeding #mombod #birth #boymom #newbornbaby #babywearing #momlife #ebw90 #newborn #posparto #corpoposparto #gestaçãosaudável

    Dziwne…
